KAWS x Air Jordan 4 Retro

Some sneakers are made to be worn. Some are made to be collected. The KAWS x Air Jordan 4 Retro is both — and there’s nothing else in the game quite like it.

When famed Brooklyn artist Brian Donnelly (KAWS) sat down with Jordan Brand, he took a sculptural approach that the sneaker world had never seen. He stripped away the Air Jordan 4’s traditional plastic netting, mesh panels, and standard leather — replacing everything with a buttery-soft suede upper that extended all the way down to wrap the midsole itself.

The result: a premium suede upper in smooth and heathered textures, drenched in a tonal colorway, with KAWS hand graphics etched directly into the upper alongside a matching hang tag.

Intricate tonal stitching traces his iconic Companion hands across the shoe, and the traditional Jumpman/Nike Air heel branding was boldly swapped for the artist’s signature “XX” motif.

Then the lights go out — and the shoe reveals its final secret: a glow-in-the-dark sole and KAWS’ signature “XX” on the heels  that transforms the entire game.
